SARANAC — The Saranac baseball team seems to like drama.
The Chiefs won in walk-off fashion for the third time in their last four games Wednesday.

Saranac was in front almost the whole way against Salmon River, gave up the lead in the top of the seventh and then won it 6-5 after a miscue in the bottom half.
Nate Stanton took the mound in the fifth inning and earned the nonleague win. Andrew Tedford had two hits and the game-winning run, and Caleb Keysor also had two hits.
After Salmon River scored two in the top of the first, Saranac pulled ahead with three runs in the bottom of the inning and added two more in the fourth.
The Shamrocks tied it up with a two-run double by Bert Gray and an RBI single by Justin Bigness. With one out in the bottom of the seventh, Tedford singled, stole second and advanced to third when Austin Medeiros reached on an error. Then the Salmon River catcher tried to pick off Tedford at third, and when the throw bounced into left field, Tedford scored.
Keysor pitched the first four innings for Saranac, striking out seven. Jeremy Barber hit a double.
Gray went the distance in the loss.

INDIAN LAKE/LONG LAKE 18, WESTPORT 10
WESTPORT — Henry Sandiford struck out six in going the distance for the pitching win and added a single and a double at the plate to lead the Orange.
Collin Farrell and Robert Miller also had a single and a double for Indian Lake/Long Lake, while Curtis Seaman finished with two singles.
The Orange scored a combined nine runs in the third and fourth innings to take an 11-1 lead.
Thomas Mero paced the Eagles with two hits, and Ryan Davis doubled. The loss went to Dylan Limlaw.

ELIZABETHTOWN — Caleb Hayes had three hits and Matt Michienzi was strong on the mound as the Indians defeated the Lions.
Jake Earley and Adrian Collado both added two hits for Wells, with Earley cracking a double.
Michienzi had two strikeouts and just one walk over five innings for the victory.
Hugh Harwood paced Elizabethtown-Lewis with two hits. Zac Noka-Bailey finished with a double.
Austin Morris suffered the loss.

Crown Point 22, Keene 2
CROWN POINT — Mike DuShane was tough from the plate with a home run and two doubles as the Panthers rolled past the Beavers.
DuShane finished with three hits and seven RBI. Jaice Spring added three hits with a pair of RBI, while Jon Spaulding and Chad Hay each had a double.
Kolby Pertak, in relief of Robbie Macey captured the victory for Crown Point. Macey, Pertak and DuShane combined for 10 strikeouts.
Colton Venner, Warren Ashe and Maxx Sturges each had a hit for Keene. Sturges added an RBI.
Venner suffered the loss.

PLATTSBURGH — Robby Knowles and Nate Emery each delivered three hits, while Shawn Courson belted a home run in the Hornets’ victory over the Patriots.
Knowles, Emery and Alex Maston each finished with a double. Maston, Gerrit Rietsema and Rob Hartman all had two hits.
Rietsema captured the win for Plattsburgh, striking out two and not allowing a walk.
Dillon Savage led the way for AuSable Valley with a 2-for-2 performance, which included a home run.
Nick McDonald took the pitching loss.

BRASHER FALLS — St. Lawrence Central held the Bulldogs to two hits in both games in their doubleheader victory in Northern Athletic Conference play.
Hill led Chateaugay with two hits in the first game, while Greg Holmes had a triple.
In the nightcap, Nathan McLaughlin rapped out three hits for the Larries, while Devin Euto and Tyler Smith contributed two each.
