Bouyea finished the second ballgame with two hits and two RBI, while Kyle Kowalowski registered two hits and three RBI. Justin Besaw also recorded multiple hits.

The Cardinals’ C.J. Worley and Joe Tolosky combined for six hits and six RBI.

Kris Chase was credited with the win on the mound, pitching the sixth and seventh.

Despite tossing three scoreless innings, Neale was tagged with the loss.

In the first game, the Miners jumped out to a 4-0 lead through the first three innings of play before adding seven more runs in an 11-2 win.

Jerry Kowalowski accumulated two hits and four RBI, while Reilly Lawless and Besaw also accounted for two hits each.

Waldron, who got the start in Game 1 of the best-of-three series, fired four strikeouts, allowing five hits and seven walks in a 130-pitch performance.

Steve Burris took the loss for the Cardinals.

Lyon Mountain finished the season 15-3.
