Adams Glass can't hold lead in loss to Colchester

(Continued)

Adams Glass put a runner on in the seventh, but could not bring him home.

“We hadn’t played in 10 days and we were flat until the sixth inning,” Adams Glass coach John Demarais said. “With runners on base we put some pressure on them and managed to score some runs.

“Colchester got some timely hits when they needed them to pickup a tough win on us. Luis pitched very well and it was a tough loss for all of us,”

Pepen-Matos allowed five hits, struck out five and had one walk in a complete-game losing effort for Adams Glass.

Dessormeau allowed eight hits, but struck out 11 and had two walks in the victory.

Pepen-Matos, Uliva and Demarais all finished with two hits to lead Adams Glass.

Benoit had two for Colchester.
