PLATTSBURGH — The Adams Glass Senior Babe Ruth team split a doubleheader with the Sorensco Falcons Saturday at Lefty Wilson Field, dropping a 3-2 decision in the first game and recording a 9-6 win in the second.

In the opener, Christian Brown accounted for all three of the Falcons' runs with two home runs and a single. Jeff Williams went four innings for the win and Brown the final three for the save.

Joe Kirkpatrick went the distance in taking the loss. David Latulipe led Adams Glass with a double and single, while Anthony Porcelli added a double and RBI, and Brett Palmer and Brian Latulipe each a single.

The Falcons held a 3-0 lead until Adams Glass scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning and left the tying run on base when the final out was recorded.

In Game 2, Sorensco scored five runs in the top of the fifth inning to take a 6-5 lead, only to have Adams Glass come back with four in the bottom of the fifth.

Palmer went the route for the pitching win. Brian Latulipe and C.J. Worley rapped out two hits each for Adams Glass (3-5), while Kirkpatrick added a double and three RBI.
