Streets

Please don’t be a danger to yourself and others on the roads this winter. Don’t drive in snowstorms, wait for clear roads. If you get caught in a blizzard, pull off in a parking area and wait it out. Don’t risk your life for a shopping trip.

Card

I recently lost my benefit card and 107$ around City Hall Place. Imagine my surprise when I was informed that both the card and cash had been turned in to the City Police. Thank you to the kind person with a conscience who turned it in!! Karma will return the kindness.

Market

With all the recent positive coverage of the North Country’s local and organic food options, I would love to see Fledging Crow Farm’s amazing veggies available for purchase each weekend at Plattsburgh Farmers Market.

Signs

Put up any political signs in front of your home; it is your right. Put them up in front of your business, and I vote with my feet by walking on by.

Costs

Health-care costs are crazy. What we pay for insurance is way out of control. Unions, doctors, hospitals and tests are what is driving up the costs of our insurance. There’s nothing left in my paycheck after the premiums are taken out.
