Speakout: Nov. 23, 2013

I would to like say thank you to the person that found my engagement ring at Lowe’s and turned it in to customer service on Oct. 25. It is refreshing to know that truly honest people are out there. I will definitely pay it forward.

It is time people stopped acting like its 1995 and keep up with the times. Servers take home about $2.50 an hour after taxes and tip out their earnings to other departments, too. Contemporary tipping is 20 percent, no matter where you live in the nation. However, poor service is another story.

Not sure how to evaluate Obamacare, as a whole, but I do know this: My premium didn’t go up for the first time in years. Maybe the competition to the big insurance companies is helpful.
