Speakout: March 21, 2013

Column

Penny Clute did a wonderful job on the column “‘Stupid’ no excuse for criminal behavior.” That should be read at every high school at the beginning of the school year, at all the colleges, at all youth groups and on Canadian crossing buses.

Article

Attorney Clute’s article “Stupid. . .” should have also stated that if you try to break down a door or break a window and enter, people inside a home have no idea if you’re a rapist, murderer, etc. They may be armed with a gun, knife or frying pan.

Forgotten

Everyone should walk through a nursing home and see the many forgotten patients who have lived longer than the attention span of their family and friends, who have moved on with their lives and no longer take the time to visit.
