Speakout: March 27, 2014

Clearing sidewalks in the city shouldn’t be an issue. There are plenty of probationers and those who need to do community service who could be placed on an on-call list to do these shoveling jobs for the elderly folks. It sure wouldn’t hurt people to be neighborly, either.

1983, 2010, 2013 — the three coldest years on record in Antarctica at 128 to 135 below. Got to love that global warming.

How long has the school board operated without any taxpayer checks and balance? I attended a meeting and was shocked at one member’s arrogance and vocal dislike for the public.

There’s a simple solution to snow removal: parents need to push their teens to earn money shoveling, just like kids used to do years ago. It’s time to learn responsibility to oneself and the community. Way cheaper for people to pay teens than the city.

I officially lost interest in these Speakouts. I used to hold great interest in reading other people’s views and thoughts on politics and the world, but it has turned into measly tattle tailing on one another.

It’s amazing how a 21st century jumbo jet vanishes without a trace for days while multiple stories are fabricated, not one consisting of accuracy.
