TO THE EDITOR: If only Washington and Albany provided us with full disclosure, we as voters, could make better use of our ballot.
In the spirit of full disclosure: While working very hard in her garden the other day, my wife was photographed for the Press-Republican — and I was taking a nap.

Help for Hannah
TO THE EDITOR: The Mike Mannix/Hannah’s Hope Golf Tournament was held Sunday, June 30, and turned out to be a sunny, delightful day for all in attendance.
Appreciation is sent to all the volunteers who gave of themselves and who, with their energy and enthusiasm, kept the day running smoothly.
The generosity of local retailers, restaurants and golf courses provided us with raffles, prizes, food and drink. With the daily requests from so many charities and causes, we are especially fortunate that they chose us.
Sponsors supported the purpose of the day — donating to Hannah’s Hope Fund. There is sincere gratitude for the yearly big-hearted gifts.
There is thankfulness to the committee, without whom the structure and success of the day wouldn’t have occurred.
Finally, a special thanks to all the golfers whose participation made the day a success. You have choices of the tournaments available, and you chose us. We are grateful for all involved and praise you.
