Senior project

TO THE EDITOR: I’m writing to you to thank everyone for helping with my senior project at Chazy Central Rural School.

My project goal was to raise $1,000 for the Chazy Public Library.

I accomplished $398.80 by doing several activities, including a book sale at the library in February and bottle drive with the Chazy Redemption Center. I would like to thank everyone who helped.

At the book sale, I was helped by the Friends of the Library and Summer Snide. We made a total of $280.

I also did a bottle drive and made a total of $130. I would like to thank the owners, Mr. and Mrs. Collins, for their help.

I would also like to thank Frances Fairchild, the director of the library, for letting me use the library to hold the events and Kathryn Brown, Steven Patnode and my parents, Sean and Judi Moore, for editing my papers.

I would also like to thank Tina Trombly for being my mentor throughout my senior project. She helped me to organize events, made sure that I did everything on time and was always there to encourage and support me.

I hope the money I raised and donated to the Chazy Public Library helps with the cost of the storage shed and materials the library needed.
