Rouses Point

TO THE EDITOR: I am writing this letter in support of Howard Newton, who is running for Town Council for the Town of Schuyler Falls.

I have known Howard since he was a baby. He’s my brother. And I would like to say that I have never known anyone who has more personal and professional integrity than Howard. He has always done the right thing, whether anyone was looking or not.

Howard has an excellent work ethic, instilled in him (as well as his siblings) by our parents, who operated their own business for 50-plus years.

If there is a cause Howard believes in, he will dedicate more than 100 percent to make sure that it is completed to the best of his ability. Howard is as honest as the day is long.

He takes great pride in the community in which he lives, which makes him the perfect candidate for Town Council.

Howard takes the time to listen to others — be they family, employees, constituents — and responds to them. If there’s something he does not know, he will take the time to find out the answer and let you know.

If you are looking for a candidate for Schuyler Falls Town Council, you will have to look far and wide to find a better candidate than Howard Newton.

I urge you to cast your vote for Howard on Election Day for Schuyler Falls Town Council.
