The first presidential debate of the year takes place tonight, and we urge everyone to tune in and listen with an open mind.
The vitriol has been high this election year. People don’t seem to want to listen to opposing viewpoints, instead trying to bury anyone who disagrees with them under an avalanche of negativity.
This is a chance to hear firsthand about the domestic-policy plans of Democratic President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Gov. Mitt Romney.
Tonight’s debate from the University at Denver starts at 9 p.m. and can be seen on all the network stations plus a number of cable networks.
Turn it on, and really listen. You will go into the voting booth better prepared.
