Faculty

Cutting full-time faculty weakens the quality of education. Part-time adjuncts often don’t have professional academic credentials and are only on campus to teach one or two classes.

Smell

Do smokers realize how bad they smell? Never show up for a home-repair job reeking of cigarette smoke unless you know the owners are also smokers. Have refused hiring several people because of this which also means the company they work for loses the job.

Prices

Why do thrift stores charge so much for items that have been given to them? Way overpriced. No deals to be found.

Shoveling

It’s been over two weeks now. I thought the city law was 24 hours sidewalks had to be cleared or owner would be charged?

Doughnuts

I read somewhere America is the fattest and unhealthiest developed country in the world. Maybe if we stopped treating each other to Dunkin Donuts ...

K2

I thought the sale of K2 was illegal, yet there is still a certain establishment in Plattsburgh selling this.

Coordination

Seems to me all city departments should work together. The police who drive around should notice sidewalks that are not cleared within the time frame and notify Public Works to make sure they are cleared.

Scam

There are good carpenters and ones that scam the homeowners. It is sad that you are like this in life. We worked hard for our money, paid for your service, and you leave job undone.

Purse

To whoever found my wife’s purse in the shopping cart in the Wal-Mart parking lot just before Christmas and turned in in fully intact, we want to offer you a very heartfelt thank you and a belated Merry Christmas.

Damage

Since when is it OK for someone to cause damage to another person’s vehicle in the Wal-Mart parking lot and just leave. I now have to purchase a new bumper for my car because some coward hit my car Jan. 12 and drove away.
