Professionalism

Professionalism on the job is important. I understand being a dog-control officer must be tedious, but understand that you are dealing with something people hold dear. Our pets are important to us. Keep that in mind and learn some phone manners.

Prices

County jail inmates pay $6 per box of Little Debbie snack cakes; stores charge $1.79. Ramen noodles, $1.29, stores 10 cents.Talk about price gouging. I understand making a profit, but come on. The jail should see about changing their supply company. This is outrageous.

Parker

Kathleen Parker is a fake Republican, closeted liberal. Republicans don’t have to adapt. They have values they stand by. It’s called a backbone. Not pandering for votes. They’re called issues, not distractions.

Conventions

As we all watch the political conventions with humor and a sence of scepticism, its important to reflect on how this country was founded. Americans then had a sense of individualism and a self-reliant character. Now it is one of dependency and entitlement.

Rednecks

Labor Day  Car Show at a place that represents religion and youth. There were a handful of cars, and a great deal of rednecks participating in the “burnout.”  Children saw drinking, squealing tires and swearing. Great example we are setting for our youth.
