TO THE EDITOR: A big “Thank You” to the person who found my credit card in Aldie’s and turned it in to customer service.
It was very much appreciated. Thank you for your honesty.

TO THE EDITOR: The Fourth of July will be here quite soon.
The St. Regis Falls Volunteer Fire Department once again is beginning preparations for our annual Field Day.
This year’s fireworks will cost $5,500. We try our best to provide a quality display. Donations are slowly coming in to help cover their cost. We rely greatly on area businesses and town residents. We mail raffle tickets to many households in our community and solicit many businesses.
Area field days are slowly fading as the cost for everything increases. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, St. Regis Falls continues this tradition.
It is truly a family event. We will have Belly Buttons the Clown, pony rides and a double slide from B and D Entertainment. This year, we will also be having Food Bingo. The day would not be complete without barbecued chicken and hot sausages. We will also have great music and clogging. There will be many vendors, cotton candy and much more.
Please join us on Thursday, July 4, for a day of music, games, great food and beautiful fireworks. The parade begins at 11 a.m. We are honored to have Assemblywoman Janet Duprey as this year’s grand marshal.
Donations can be sent to Mark Sears, St. Regis Falls Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 177, St. Regis Falls, NY 12980.
As always, thank you for your continued support.
