Market Kids Day

TO THE EDITOR:  On Saturday, Aug. 18, we held our first Kids Day at the Plattsburgh Farmers and Crafters Market.

We would like to thank the individuals and groups that participated and made it so successful: Penelope the Clown, Gordie Little, Tori Taber, Pascal Spronk, Speedie Arnold, Elmore SPCA, Champlain Valley Transportation Museum, Mountain Lake PBS, Imaginarium Children’s Museum, Eat Smart NY, Clinton County Health Department WIC, Master Gardeners from Cooperative Extension, Healthy Neighborhoods, Jane Gregware, Clinton County Farm Bureau and all our volunteers.

Without you, this would not have been possible. We look forward to doing it again next year. Thank you.

Anniversary support

TO THE EDITOR:  On Sept. 7, Champlain Valley Family Center held its 30th-anniversary celebration in conjunction with Recovery Month.

The Board of Directors and staff would like to thank the businesses, officials and individuals for the prize donations, refreshments, entertainment and presentations that made this landmark celebration memorable.
