People who park across sidewalks should be ticketed. Especially in front of businesses.

The United States needs to adopt a strict policy on how many children women can birth. I know a woman who has nine children and is on welfare.

There is such irresponsibility with some people who cannot control or discipline their children while in public. It is a shame how parents allow their kids to behave and carry on, and the parents cannot be the adult and leave the store or restaurant.

Memorial Day was created to honor members of the military who died in the service of their country. It is not a national holiday to remember everyone in the cemetery, just those who died while in the armed forces.

To the inhumane jerk who hit a beautiful brown lab on Front Street in Keeseville at 3:27 p.m. on a Thursday:  The poor dog suffered and died in my arms. Children were crying, women screaming, and you are such a despicable piece of human garbage you did not even stop.

My family has pets that we consider part of the family. It is an awful feeling to hear we must get rid of a family member to find a home. It is near impossible for us to find a place to rent that allows pets.
