TO THE EDITOR: Outside of many churches there’s a stone monument to the unborn showing a little baby held by two hands.
If we save the baby, the baby will save us and our society.
Ever since birth control and abortion entered our society, gay marriage has appeared; family life has suffered.
Once again, make the baby a blessing. Forget abortion and birth control. Marriage and family life will prosper. The gay problem will disappear.
Next time you pass a monument to the unborn, stop and say a “Hail Mary.”
THE REV. PATRICK O’REILLY
TO THE EDITOR: I am running for a position on Northeastern Clinton School Board.
I have been a resident of the NCCS School District since 1970 and have lived and worked in Champlain since graduating in 1976.
My family of four children, two grandchildren, six siblings and 19 nieces and nephews all graduated from or are currently attending NCCS.
My experience includes 10 years on the board of directors of the Champlain Children’s Learning Center in Rouses Point, including four years as board president.
I am a past member of the Plattsburgh North Country Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. I am a licensed customs broker, currently working as a department manager for a customs-brokerage firm in Champlain.
I am very familiar with the NCCS school system, many of the employees, residents and businesses of the district.
Since announcing my goal, I have heard some great feedback and am interested in hearing more of your comments and concerns. Please email me at email@example.com.
If you will allow me the opportunity to represent you on the School Board, I will do my best to consider your concerns so we can all contribute to the continued success of this great school.
