Safety

Every time something really bad happens, people cry out for safety, and the government answers by taking rights away from good people. Concentrated power has always been the enemy of liberty.

Lazy

Two jobs and school; I can’t afford rent and gas. But a generation that last went on a job hunt in 1980 can argue my generation is lazy. Remember when 40 hours work per week could pay for rent, gas and food?

Walking

It irritates me to see dog owners who are so quick to walk their dogs on other people’s property yet are so reluctant to walk them on their own property. A little respect, please.

Dog

Lady who stuck her arm in my car to leave me a nasty note about my dog, poor behavior. Car was in the shade, windows down, bowl of water. Dog needs therapy twice a week.

Salary

I can’t believe that people are complaining that $35 an hour isn’t enough. I understand that you work hard, but if you can’t manage a budget on that kind of pay, then you need to cut down on your expenses. I survive on $16 an hour.

Smoking

We go to enjoy the races, and you have people smoking in the grandstands. Not sure why they don’t have no smoking in the grandstands, like the fair does. It’s so rude and disrespectful. Leave your cigarettes home.
