Speakout: Oct. 13, 2012


Thank you Mrs. Marlow, BOE and Northern Adirondack taxpayers for providing the faculty and staff with a delicious lunch. It was nice to see that this year’s pizza came from an establishment in the communtiy that supports the school with their tax dollars.


I’m from the Plattsburgh area and am a fine-wine specialist. I have a degree in wine chemistry and want to move back and start a winery or wine bar. How do you all feel about a former Napa winemaker starting new winery or wine bar there, creating jobs and fun?


Separtists just got into power in Quebec who are adamant to separate from Canada. Now watch an influx of  Canadian businesses from Quebec move into the North Country. Their loss, our gain.


Why aren’t farm vehicles required to have brake and signal lights on the back of their trailers?  It’s dangerous when following them because you never know when they are going to turn or if they are slowing down. Shouldn’t they have to follow the same road rules?
