Marathon team

TO THE EDITOR: We want to say thank you to our wonderful son Kevin Norcross for organizing The Team Goldennorc and participating in the Plattsburgh Half Marathon.

Thank you to our friends who donated their time and efforts to raise awareness for Parkinson’s Disease at the Plattsburgh Half Marathon at the oval on April 21.

Our son organized this team on behalf of his dad, who has Parkinson’s disease.

A special thanks to Julie Foster of Foster Sports for being the official sponsor for The Team Goldennorc and to our grandson Kaden for running the half marathon — “go Kaden.”

Natural gas

TO THE EDITOR: I would like to urge my fellow Cumberland Head residents to call NYSEG if you are interested in getting natural gas.

The number is 800-572-1111. The more people who call, the greater the possibility of the project moving forward.

With all the money you’ll save by switching from fuel oil to natural gas, it could be the most profitable call you will ever make.
