Cinema accommodating

TO THE EDITOR: I would like to thank Cumberland 12 Cinemas for offering a venue for our recent Red Carpet event.

On March 6, the Task Force Against Bullying hosted our second-annual ISAB (I Stand Against Bullying) Awards. The event was from 5 to 8 p.m. at Cumberland 12 Cinemas.

We literally invaded the theater lobby from 5 to 6 p.m. with a Red Carpet production, complete with interview stations and paparazzi. We then had our video premiere in the largest theater from 6 to 8 p.m.

Manager Craig Cathers was especially helpful and accommodating again this year. It is really amazing to have such strong support from a local business for our anti-bullying efforts.

Thank you Cumberland 12 Cinemas for making our event an evening to remember.

PHS 50th reunion

TO THE EDITOR: On Oct. 4 ,5 and 6, the Plattsburgh High School Class of 1963 will be having our 50th reunion.

We are trying to reach as many classmates as possible. If you are a PHS Class of 1963 graduate and would be interested in attending or to just get information about the reunion, please contact me a jack@premore.net or call 561-0346.

We are compiling a reunion yearbook with information about all the classmates who wish to send us some information about themselves. Any 1963 PHS graduate, whether you attend or not, can request a yearbook.

If you know a 1963 PHS grad, please pass this on to them. Thank you.
