Senior trip to Montreal planned

MONTREAL — The Town of Plattsburgh is sponsoring a trip to visit the Botanical Gardens, Insectarium and Biodome in Montreal on Wednesday, June 26.

The 2013 International Mosaicultures exhibit will be on display at the gardens.

The bus will leave the Champlain Centre parking lot in front of Sears at 7:30 a.m. and return to Plattsburgh by 6 p.m. The day program is open first to any Town of Plattsburgh senior citizen and then to all other Clinton County senior citizens if space is available.

The cost for the trip is $40, which includes admission to all the venues. Lunch is not included in the prices, but can be purchased in the cafeterias onsite. Preregistration and prepayment are mandatory before Monday, June 17. Register by calling 562-6860 or visiting the Parks and Recreation Office.
