Dental Clinic to hold appointments
SARANAC LAKE — The Adirondack Health Mobile Dental Clinic is on the road this summer.
The “clinic on wheels” aims to serve residents of outlying communities, where limited resources and travel are obstacles for receiving timely dental care. The vehicle is fully registered, licensed and insured in New York state and is certified to provide dental care by the State Department of Health. Most insurances are accepted, including Medicaid. Self-pay patients are also welcome. Care will be provided on a shared basis by the hospital’s dentists through October.
Here are the clinics: AuSable Forks, Black Brook town parking lot, 18 North Main St., 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 26 and 27, and Oct. 10, 11, 14 and 22; Long Lake, Geiger Arena, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 23 and Oct. 7; Tupper Lake Municipal Park, 17 Demars Blvd., 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 16, 17 and 30, and Oct. 4, 17 and 18; and Vermontville, 7 Cold Brook Road (parking behind Town Hall), 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 20, and Oct. 1 and 21.
To make an appointment, call 523-1122 or (888) 523-2632.
