Fire hydrant training slated in Dannemora

DANNEMORA — The Dannemora Volunteer Fire Department will be using the hydrants in the Village of Dannemora on Monday evening for training.

Residents may have cloudy water that night and the next day.


CCRS Board to discuss policy updates, tenure

CHAZY — The Chazy Central Rural School Board will hold the next regular meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 11. 

Topics of discussion will include policy updates, advisers, fall coaches, tenure and the Rural Schools Association. 

The public is invited to attend.


Clinton County Legislature to consider resolutions

PLATTSBURGH — The Clinton County Legislature will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Legislative Chambers on the second floor of the Government Center, 137 Margaret St.

Among the resolutions to be acted upon are: an authorizing contract with the State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision; an appointment to the Clinton County Community Services Board and reappointment of Martine Gonyo as Real Property Tax Services director.

The meeting is open to the public.


Peru Central Board to meet Tuesday

PERU — The Peru Central School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the district’s Community Room adjacent to the main entrance of Peru Secondary School.

An executive session associated with particular personnel matters will take place immediately following the 6 p.m. start of the meeting. The board is expected to reconvene for public session at about 7 p.m.

Agenda items include recognition of retiring and recently retired employees and of board members whose terms are expiring, and approval of personnel appointments.

The meeting is open to the public.


Beekmantown School Board session set

BEEKMANTOWN — The Beekmantown Central School Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Middle/High library. 

The board anticipates going into executive session from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. to discuss a particular person(s) employment history.

Agenda items include: retirement plaques, board recognition and tenure appointments.

CCC Trustees to meet Tuesday

PLATTSBURGH — The Clinton Community College Board of Trustees will meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday in the Board Room.

Agenda items include reports on Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, finance and the president’s personnel report.

The public is welcome.
