Willsboro Central School Board seat up for vote

WILLSBORO — Willsboro Central School District will elect one School Board member on Tuesday, May 21, in conjunction with the annual school budget vote.

The position is for a three-year term and currently held by Bruce Hale.

People interested in running for the seat can obtain a petition form from District Clerk Brandy Pierce at the Willsboro Central School District Office, 29 School Lane, online at www.willsborocsd.org or call 963-4456, Ext. 204, to have one mailed to you.

Petitions must be received by the district clerk by 3 p.m. Monday, April 22.

Peru Town Council holding two budget sessions today

PERU — The Peru Town Council will hold two budget meetings today.

The first will be at 6:30 p.m with the Highway Department and the second at 7:30 p.m. with the Water and Sewer Department. Department heads and the Town Council will discuss current expenditures.

At 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 11, the Town Council will meet to discuss the park and walking trail.

All meetings are open to the public.

Section of Montana Road closed for repair

PLATTSBURGH — The Town of Plattsburgh Highway Department has closed Montana Road between New York Road and Kansas Avenue until further notice due to drainage repairs.

Special meeting to focus on building in Dannemora

DANNEMORA — The Dannemora Town Council will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, to continue discussion about construction at the combined services building.

To be held in the Dannemora Town Hall, it will be followed by the regular monthly meeting at 6 p.m.  

The public is welcome.
