PLATTSBURGH — “Health Homes: What Are They?” is the topic of the next Brown Bag program sponsored by Behavioral Health Services North (BHSN) and the National Alliance on Mental Illness: Champlain Valley (NAMI: CV).
The talk is set for 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday in the second floor meeting room of Plattsburgh City Library on Oak Street.
Bring your lunch. Resource materials will be provided.
Future talks, all from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. are: “Transgender Teens” March 7; and “Autism: Ask Your Questions” April 4.

Program to focus on dental health
PLATTSBURGH — The Imaginarium Children’s Museum of the North Country is hosting “Dino Bites,” a program that focuses on proper dental care, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10.
Activities include brushing a dinosaur egg, making apple mouths with almond teeth and more, with the goal of making brushing and dental health fun.
The Imaginarium, at 4709 Route 9 in Plattsburgh, is open for exploration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 1 to 8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $4 per person age 2 and up. Admission for all Super Sunday programs is $6 per person age 2 and up. Children under the age of 2 are free.

Blood drives set
PLATTSBURGH — There are many opportunities to give blood in February through the North Country Regional Blood Donor Program.
Here’s the schedule for this week: 4 to 7 p.m. today, Brushtono-Moira American Legion Post 939; 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, Peru High School; 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, Chazy High School; 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, Willsboro Fire Department; and 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, SUNY Plattsburgh Angell College Center.
The Blood Donor Center, 85 Plaza Blvd., is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Walk-in donors are encouraged. To learn how to host a drive, call 562-7406.
