Trip to Vermont planned for Aug. 26

PLATTSBURGH — A Vermont Getaway Day Trip is planned for Monday, Aug. 26, sponsored by the Clinton County Senior Citizens Council.

The first stop is Shelburne Farms, with a farm yard visit, then on to the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory for a 30-minute tour, follow by lunch at the Grand Buffet.

The cost of $62 per person includes transportation, admission and lunch.

The trip will leave Champlain Centre mall in Plattsburgh at 8 a.m. and return at about 6 p.m.
