Mobile Dental Clinic to hold appointments

SARANAC LAKE — The Adirondack Health Mobile Dental Clinic is on the road this month and June.

The “clinic on wheels” aims to serve residents of outlying communities, where limited resources and travel are obstacles for receiving timely dental care. The vehicle is fully registered, licensed and insured in New York state and is certified to provide dental care by the State Department of Health. Most insurances are accepted, including Medicaid. Self-pay patients are also welcome. Care will be provided on a shared basis by the hospital’s dentists through October.

Here are the clinics: AuSable Forks, Black Brook town parking lot, 18 North Main St., 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 16, 30 and 31, and June 10, 11, 21, 24 and 27; Long Lake, Geiger Arena, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 20 and June 17; Tupper Lake Municipal Park, 17 Demars Blvd., 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. May 23 and 24, and June 3, 4, 13 and 20; and Vermontville, 7 Cold Brook Road (parking behind Town Hall), 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 10 and 28, and June 6 and 28.
