Food, craft fair set for Nov. 2

ELIZABETHTOWN — Horace Nye Nursing Home residents are getting ready for their annual Food Sale and Craft Fair from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2.

Each year “cooks corner” bakes up some goodies to sell, and they take orders for holiday pies. They are making chili and cornbread for lunch, which will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This year’s event will include some new craft vendors, and there is still room for a few more. Those interested in a space should contact Bertha Rand at 873-2266. The cost is $10 per table.

Artisans sought for Christmas Craft Fair

ELIZABETHTOWN — The Elizabethtown Social Center is seeking local artisans for its annual Christmas Craft Fair, held from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1.

Vendors must commit to both days. Merchandise must be handmade and submitted for approval. Preference will be given to Elizabethtown/Lewis/New Russia vendors until Nov. 2. After Nov. 2, all applicants will be considered. Vendor applications are available at the Social Center, 7626 Route 9, or online at www.elizabethtownsocialcenter.org.
