Lake Placid School Board working on budget

LAKE PLACID — The Lake Placid School Board will meet at 7 tonight for a budget session.

The meeting will take place in the Board of Education Conference Room, Administrative Services Building, 50 Cummings Road, Lake Placid.

It is open to the public.

Dannemora tax offices open longer

DANNEMORA — The Town of Dannemora Clerk/Tax Collector’s Office will have extended window hours this week to accommodate property tax payments.

The office will be open today and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Regular window hours will resume Feb. 4.

The office is now at its new location at 78 Higby Road (formerly Town Garage Road) in Chazy Lake across from the State Boat Launch.
