ROTA Gallery to show Sabourin artwork

PLATTSBURGH — The ROTA Gallery will host a series of paintings done by local artist and musician Kevin Sabourin from Saturday, Jan. 25, through Wednesday, Feb. 5.

Sabourin will entertain the audience at the opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, with original acoustic songs.

Gibson Brothers to play in Chazy

CHAZY — ETC Housing Corporation is sponsoring a Gibson Brothers concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at Chazy Central Rural School.

Doors open at 6 p.m.

Donna Jo Napoli to sign books at Bookstore Plus 

LAKE PLACID — Award winning children’s and young adult author Donna Jo Napoli will sign books beginning at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, at the Bookstore Plus in Lake Placid.

Napoli will be signing copies of her books, including “Skin,” her newest book for young adults. Personalized books are available for those who can’t attend the event.

ROTA Gallery calls for fan art

PLATTSBURGH — The ROTA Gallery is asking for community members to drop off artwork to be displayed in a “nerd” themed art show to accompany the upcoming annual event ROTACON.
