Town offering free kayak trip Thursday

PLATTSBURGH — The Town of Plattsburgh Parks and Recreation Department is offering a free kayak trip to all active adults and seniors who reside in the town from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday.

The group will start at 10 a.m. at Picketts Corners Park in Saranac and travel 6.3 miles down the river to the Cadyville Beach. The trip will take about 2.5 hours. All equipment will be provided to those who need it. 

Participants must preregister and can do so by visiting the Recreation Department at 151 Banker Road, Plattsburgh; or calling 562-6860.
