Turkey Shoot scheduled in Lake Placid

LAKE PLACID — The Lake Placid Fish & Game Club with hold its second-annual Turkey Shoot to benefit the Lake Placid Lodge 834 Scholarship Fund.

The shoot is set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at the club on Old Military Road in Lake Placid.

Entry fee is $15. Registration begins at 9 a.m. — rain or shine.

Test your shooting skills with a five-shot event that will benefit the Lake Placid Scholarship Fund. No turkeys will be harmed during this event. One prize per entry.

Barbecue sandwiches, chips, snacks and refreshments will be available.
