Ti Ferry opens for season Saturday

TICONDEROGA — The Ticonderoga Ferry opens for the season on Saturday, running from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. daily.  

Michael and Alison Matot own the independent ferry, which crosses between Ticonderoga and Shoreham, Vt.

NCCS Board plans budget presentation

CHAMPLAIN  — The Northeastern Clinton Central School District regular board meeting with budget presentation will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, in the Mooers Elementary School cafetorium.

Besides the budget, agenda items will include tenure appointments, bids and an update on the superintendent search.

The meeting is open to all.

Dannemora Town Council to open office bids

DANNEMORA — The Dannemora Town Council will hold a special meeting at 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, at the Town Hall.

The council will open qualified bids received for the new Town Office at the Town Highway Garage. Other business may also be
