Adult Center’s annual Garage Sale coming up

CONSTABLE — Constable Adult Center’s 26th-annual Garage Sale Weekend is Saturday and Sunday, May 4 and 5. Garage sales are open from 8 a.m. to dusk each day.

Lunch and refreshments will be offered at the Adult Center, on the corner of routes 122 and 30, three miles north of the Trout River border crossing.

A free map listing each sale in the Constable area will be available at the Adult Center beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday. Last year, more than 135 families participated in the 89 sales listed on the map, and more are expected this year.

Computer Club to meet Monday

PLATTSBURGH — The Senior Citizen Computer Club of Clinton County meets at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 6, at the Senior Citizens Center, 5139 N. Catherine St.

The session will include a presentation by Ed Schiffler on backing up data from the computer to external devices as well as using online storage for that purpose.

The group is open to all seniors, regardless of where they reside.

Busy Bees offering trip to casino

BEEKMANTOWN — The Beekmantown Busy Bees is offering a trip to Alexandria Bay and Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Tuesday and Wednesday, May 28 and 29.

The outing includes a luncheon cruise in the Thousand Islands and $25 slot play at the casino. The package includes one night in a motel, one breakfast, two lunches and one dinner. The cost is $185 per person. All transportation is by Premier Coach.
