ROUSES POINT — The Rouses Point Planning Board meeting scheduled for toay has been canceled.

LPCS forumsto introduce new administration team

LAKE PLACID — Lake Placid Central School District will host three community forums to introduce the new administrative team: High School Principal Dana Wood, Middle School Principal Theresa Lindsay and Elementary School Principal Brian Latella.

They will be available to answer questions about the upcoming school year.

The meetings are set for 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the Wilmington Community Center, Springfield Road, Wilmington; 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, in the community room at the Lake Placid Elementary School, 318 Old Military Road; and 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, in the foyer of the Lake Placid Middle and High School, 34 School Street.

Moriah Central to conduct interviews

MORIAH — The Moriah Central School Board will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, in the High School library.

The board will enter immediately into executive session to conduct interviews.

AuSable Dems to hold caucus Tuesday

AUSABLE — The Town of AuSable Democrat Party caucus will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, at the Town Hall, 111 AuSable St., Keeseville.

Offices to be voted on are two four-year Town Council seats.

No Beekmantown Town Court session for Aug. 28

BEEKMANTOWN — Beekmantown Town Court will not be in session on Wednesday, Aug. 28.

Those who have appearances set for that night are to appear at the same time on Sept. 11.

Clinton County Legislature to meet Wednesday

PLATTSBURGH — The Clinton County Legislature will meet for a regular session at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, in the Legislative Chambers on the second floor of the Clinton County Government Center, 137 Margaret St.

Among the resolutions to be acted upon are: adoption of the Clinton Community College budget; authorizing the purchasing agent to solicit bids for materials and services for 2014; and approval of a reappointment to the Clinton County Board of Health.

The meeting is open to the public.

CHAMPLAIN — The Town of Champlain Planning Board meeting scheduled for Sept. 5 has been canceled.

The next session is set for Oct. 3.
