Taste of North Country coming up

PLATTSBURGH — The Taste of the North Country is set for Thursday, Nov. 8, at the Field House at SUNY Plattsburgh.

The event combines a food/beverage-tasting experience with an auction. The auction preview begins at 5 p.m., followed by a silent auction and tasting from 5:30 to 7. Auctioneer Steve Brodi and emcee Don Duley will cap off the evening with the live auction at 7.

Tickets are $18 and can be purchased online at www.northcountrychamber.com. Those under 21 must be accompanied by an adult.

The event is sponsored by Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, Worlco Management Services, the Mohawk Bingo Palace/Akwesasne Mohawk Casino. For questions, call the North Country Chamber of Commerce at 563-1000.
