Raffle proceeds to benefit Plattsburgh museum

PLATTSBURGH — The War of 1812 Museum is holding a fundraiser raffle until noon Saturday, Dec. 22, for a new Amazon Kindle Fire HD.

The tablet is black and has a 7-inch display with 16 GB of memory. Value is about $200.

The tickets are $1 each or six for $5. The drawing will be held at noon Saturday. Participants do not need to be present to win. All proceeds benefit the War of 1812 Museum and the programs it provides to the public.

To make a donation for a raffle ticket, visit the War of 1812 Museum at 31 Washington Road from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Saturday. The museum is operated by the Battle of Plattsburgh Association.
