---- — Senior Citizen Computer Club plans meeting Jan. 7

PLATTSBURGH — The Senior Citizen Computer Club of Clinton County will meet at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, at the Senior Citizens Center, 5139 North Catherine St., Plattsburgh.

The presentation will deal with using computers to go online and find and use tutorials. Using search engines to diagnose and repair computer problems will also be presented.

Bring a senior friend to the meeting.

Senior Council offers group trip to Ottawa during May

PLATTSBURGH — The Senior Citizens Council of Clinton County is offering a trip to Ottawa and Boldt Castle for Ottawa’s Tulip Festival from May 17 to 20, 2013.

The four-day, three-night tour will include: a guided tour of Ottawa, Canada’s Aviation and Space Museum, Canadian Museum of Nature, a two-hour Ottawa River cruise, a tour of Parliament Hill buildings, Canadian Museum of Civilization and a Boldt Castle luncheon cruise. Lodging is at the four-star Ramada Plaza Manoir du Casino in Gatineau.

The tour includes coach transportation, three buffet breakfasts, one lunch, three dinners, three nights lodging, luggage handling and all admissions. A deposit of $200 per person is required to secure a seat. The balance can be paid down at your convenience with a final payment due Friday, April 5, 2013. The double-occupancy price is $675 per person. A $50 cancellation fee within 35 days of the trip will be charged. Refunds cannot be guaranteed within 35 days of the trip.

Adults of all ages are welcome. All participants must have a passport or Enhanced Driver’s License.
