Seton Yard Sale planned forJune 7, 8 weekend

PLATTSBURGH — Seton Catholic will hold a yard sale 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 7, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, June 8, at 23 St. Charles St., Plattsburgh.

The sale at the former St. Peter’s School will include toys, clothes, sporting goods, holiday decorations, furniture, household supplies, bikes, CDs, books, PlayStation 2 games, tools, baked goods, jewelry and more.

Raffle and 50-50 tickets will be sold, as well.


Free dinner being offered by Ti church

TICONDEROGA — The next free Ticonderoga Community Fellowship dinner at the First United Methodist Church in Ticonderoga will be held 4:30 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 1.

Everyone is welcome to the meal, which includes chicken and rice casserole with vegetables and a salad. A strawberry/rhubarb cobbler will be available along with other desserts and beverages.

Free-will donation are appreciated, organizers said.

High chairs, booster seats, takeouts and a child-friendly menu will be available.


Community Church to host spring luncheon June 11

ESSEX — The annual Women’s Spring Luncheon will be held at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, at Essex Community Church, across from the ferry dock in Essex.

A panel of women from the Essex/Willsboro churches will share their faith stories in response to questions asked by a moderator.

A salad luncheon will be provided, and a free-will offering for missions will be received.

The event, which has been held since 2007, is open to all women.
