Good Fellowship Club to meet in Mooers today

MOOERS — The Mooers Good Fellowship Club will be meeting for a potluck luncheon at noon today at St. Ann’s Church Hall in Mooers Forks.

The club is still looking for ideas on a trip.

Members are encouraged to bring something for the local Food Pantry.

New members are always welcome.

NY Connectsoffers training

PLATTSBURGH — Clinton County New York Connects invites all members of the community to attend an educational series on a variety of community services.

Today the topic will be Medicaid, hosted by Lucy St. Clair of Department of Social Services. Learn about all the new changes to the Medicaid program.

May 28 will feature the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), with Kate Gardner, director. Find out about the volunteer opportunities.

The Alzheimer’s Disease Assistance Center will be discussed June 11, with Kenna LaPorte, LMHC. Get information on the subject.

On June 18, the Joint Council on Economic Opportunity (JCEO) will be the topic, with Jackie Skiff, CAO. Find out about the programs offered in this agency.

All presentations will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the first-floor meeting room in the Clinton County Government Center, 137 Margaret St., Plattsburgh. A visitor parking lot can be accessed via Court Street.
