Jean Arleen Breed book signing to benefit St. Patrick’s

PORT HENRY — Part of the proceeds from Jean Arleen Breed’s book signing from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at the Sherman Free Library will be donated to St. Patrick’s Church to help pay for their fuel and energy bills from last winter.

Also, part of the proceeds will be donated to the Sherman Free Library.

Golden Acres Sr.Housing will hold annual meeting

CHAZY — Golden Acres Senior Housing has scheduled its annual meeting for 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 19, at the Chazy Town Hall.

The agenda includes the election of officers for the coming year.

The public is invited to attend.

St. Mary’s Mission Center plans bag sale

CHAMPLAIN — St Mary’s Mission Center in Champlain is hosting a bag sale from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 13; 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, May 15; and 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 17.

Thirteen-gallon kitchen garbage bags will be supplied to be filled with gently used adult clothing, children’s clothing, teen clothing and shoes.

Cost is $8 per bag.
