City adjusts trash collectionfor holiday

PLATTSBURGH — The City of Plattsburgh Department of Public Works is changing its pickup schedule for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Today and Tuesday’s collections will be done on their regular days.

Wednesday’s pickup will be done on Tuesday.

Thursday’s and Friday’s collections will be done on Wednesday.

Clinton County Legislature meets Tuesday

PLATTSBURGH — The Clinton County Legislature will meet Tuesday this week, instead of the usual Wednesday.

The legislature will meet at 7 p.m. in Legislative Chambers at the Clinton County Government Center, 137 Margaret St.

Legislators are expected to act on appointments to the North Country Regional Workforce Investment Board, a contract for a jail physician and changes to the Clinton County Public Transit bus route.

The meeting is open to th public.
