Agencies answer questions about adoption today

PLATTSBURGH — The Clinton County Department of Social Services and Behavioral Health Services North will be celebrating National Adoption Day from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at Champlain Centre North.

There will be gift basket raffles, face painting and children’s giveaways. Information about the DSS and BHSN program will be available, and the staff will be present to answer questions.

No story time at library on Thanksgiving

SARANAC LAKE — The preschool story-time program at the Saranac Lake Free Library will not be held Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28.

The program will resume at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, in the Children’s Room of the library.
