Mountain Lake PBS has broadcast transmitter working

PLATTSBURGH — On Wednesday, Mountain Lake PBS resumed broadcasting from its Lyon Mountain transmitter after replacing the transformers that were damaged during storms in late June.

The Mountain Lake PBS engineering team worked with Northline Utilities to complete the repairs ahead of schedule.

While over-the-air service has been restored to full power, some viewers may find that they need to rescan channels on their television if they have trouble finding Mountain Lake PBS channels 57.1, 57.2, and 57.3. Service to all cable and satellite providers has also been restored.

Mountain Lake PBS officials said in a news release that they “would like to thank all those affected by this outage for their patience and understanding.”
