College Council to meet at retreat

PLATTSBURGH — The SUNY Plattsburgh College Council will conduct its next meeting as part of an annual retreat beginning at 2:45 p.m. Friday, July 26, at the Valcour Educational Conference Center, 3712 State Route 9 in Peru.

During the session, the council will consider the following commendations: Dr. Mary Roden-Tice on her promotion to SUNY distinguished teaching professor; Cori Jackson, Todd Moravec and Lizabeth Woodward, as well as Drs. Dexter Criss, Danielle Garneau, Jessamyn Neuhaus, William Pfaff and Shakuntala Rao, on receiving the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence; and recently retired employees for their service to the college.

There will also be a discussion of campus governance with representatives from the Faculty Senate and the unions.
