NACS Board to discuss collective negotiations 

ELLENBURG — The Northern Adirondack School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, June 16, in the District Office Conference Room. 

An executive session associated with the performance history of particular employees and collective negotiations will take place at about 6 p.m. 

The board will reconvene for public session business at about 7 p.m. 

Retirees and an exiting board member will be recognized for their years of service. 

John J. Hebert Scholar Athletes Alden Kerr and Jillian Scott will also be recognized. 

The agenda also includes policy updates and fall coaching appointments,

New members join Peru School Board

PERU — At a meeting on Tuesday, June 10, the Peru Central School Board welcomed newly elected board member Jill Folsom, who officially began her service on May 21.

Folsom won a one-year unexpired term, garnering 691 votes, at the May 20 budget vote and elections.

Bonnie Berry was elected to a five-year School Board term with 770 votes.

She will begin her service on July 1.

Also running were Genie Denton, who drew 145 votes, and Donna LaRocque, who garnered 209.

Essex County Courthouse sets summer hours

ELIZABETHTOWN — The Essex County Courthouse will begin its summer hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, June 16.

These offices and courts will follow that schedule: Essex County Clerk’s Office, Department of Motor Vehicles, District Attorney’s Office, Commissioner of Jurors, Family Court, Surrogate’s Court, County Court, Supreme Court, District Office of Assemblyman Dan Stec.

These hours will be in effect through Friday, August 29.

Saranac School Board plans meeting agenda

SARANAC — The Saranac Central School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 16, at the District Office in Dannemora.

The board contemplates convening an executive session to discuss the employment history of a particular person and negotiations.

Agenda items contract awards, the monthly budget status report, a discussion of the 2014 exit survey results and the employment.

A complete agenda is available at the District Office and on the website www.saranac.org.

All meetings are open to the public.
