Jay Supervisor’s Office phone out

JAY — The Town of Jay Supervisor’s Office telephone system will be out of service for repairs and modifications today.

This switchover should take about two hours, and work is scheduled to begin at noon.

Town officials apologized for any inconvenience this temporary lack of service may cause.

Citizen disaster preparedness training open to all

PLATTSBURGH — Local and state officials are encouraging all area residents to participate in the North Country Citizen Preparedness Corps Training Program.

The presentation is set for 10 a.m. Saturday, June 14, in the Warren Ballrooms in SUNY Plattsburgh’s Angell College Center.
