SUNY Plattsburgh plans emergency training exercise

PLATTSBURGH — SUNY Plattsburgh will conduct a full-scale emergency training exercise in Beaumont Hall from 8 a.m. to noon Friday, Oct. 25.

Emergency crews will take part, and so fire trucks and other emergency vehicles may, at times, block the Beaumont parking lot.

Also, those helping to stage the event will park behind Redcay Hall, so that lot may be full.

Anyone wanting quick access in and out of campus should find alternate parking.

Space will be available in the lot behind Sibley Hall. The parking shuttle leaves from that lot every 15 minutes and stops at various points around campus.

A downloadable shuttle map is available at http://www.plattsburgh.edu/studentlife/shuttle.
